Promotion of Family Consumer Sciences

Promoting our Osceola Schools FCS program is very important and necessary in order to keep our program running and successful. Our FCS Program helps to teach students entrepreneurship, cooking skills, child development & parenting, hospitality & tourism, as well as fashion construction & marketing. All of these classes promote being a well-rounded individual that can be self sufficient and a valuable member to our community. Its highly reccommended to promote these programs in order to better our community and the members and children within.

Entrepreneurship

Student entrepreneurship focuses  on personnel management, business, financial planning,      business & labor laws, marketing 

principles, legal rights, and lastly, responsibilities of ownership &      communication.

Cooking Skills is complex baking  & cooking lab units which include, full meal production, cake decorating & pastries, plating techniques, and lastly, global foods.

Child Development involves the emotional changes that occurs

 in human beings between birth

 and conclusion of adolescence.

About our FCS Classes

The FCS Classes that are offered at Osceola Missouri Schools are all taught by our FCCLA Advisor, Mrs. Straw. Certain classes are offered depending on your grade level and the older you get the more opportunities! FCS classes are offered to freshmans-seniors and are very popular among the students in our school. Currently as of this school year there are
